Vicem Packaging But Son posts strong Q3 profit rebound driven by sales surge

Vicem Packaging But Son Joint Stock Company (BBS) announced a remarkable recovery in its financial results for the third quarter of 2025. The company’s net profit after tax reached VND 1,869,421,488, a significant improvement from the loss of VND 396,939,796 reported in Q3 2024. This turnaround is attributed mainly to a substantial increase in packaging bag sales volume, which grew by 178% compared to the same period last year.

The robust sales performance propelled the company's total revenue from sales of merchandise and services to VND 121,631,972,792 in Q3 2025, up from VND 71,104,737,881 in Q3 2024. Gross profit also saw a healthy rise to VND 8,487,478,183 from VND 5,391,970,777 year-over-year.

For the cumulative nine-month period ending September 30, 2025, the company’s net profit after tax stood at VND 4,832,849,122, an increase of approximately VND 2.2 billion compared to VND 4,687,632,642 in the corresponding period of 2024. Total assets at the end of Q3 2025 amounted to VND 301,130,697,569, indicating steady growth.
