Vinafreight seeks new board member after resignation

Ho Chi Minh City, October 15, 2025 – Vinafreight Joint Stock Company announced an extraordinary information disclosure regarding the nomination and self-nomination of candidates to fill a vacant position on its board of directors. This follows the resignation of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, effective upon approval by the general meeting of shareholders. The company aims to elect one additional board member to complete the 2022-2027 term.

Eligible shareholders are invited to submit application dossiers by 10:00 a.m. on October 25, 2025. These can be made via hand delivery, post, or email to Ms. Bui Thi Huong, secretary of the board of directors. Key documents required include an application form, curriculum vitae, an information disclosure form, along with certified copies of identity documents and professional qualifications.

Candidates must meet specific criteria, including professional qualifications and experience relevant to Vinafreight's business sectors, and may not serve on more than five other public company boards concurrently. Shareholders or groups holding 10% or more of total ordinary shares are entitled to nominate candidates. If no dossiers are received by the deadline, the incumbent board will nominate a qualified individual.
