Vinacomin – Mong Duong Coal to hold EGM on leadership changes

Vinacomin – Mong Duong Coal Joint Stock Company (MDC) has announced an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for 9:30 AM on October 28, 2025, at the company’s office in Quang Ninh Province. The meeting, called following resolutions from the board of directors on September 9 and October 7, 2025, will focus on significant leadership appointments and dismissals.

Key agenda items include a report from the board of directors regarding the appointment of the company's director and the dismissal and election of additional board of directors members for the 2023-2028 term. Shareholders registered by September 30, 2025, are eligible to attend and vote on these matters. The board of directors has already approved Luong Thanh Chung as the new director for a five-year term starting September 9, 2025, following the resignation of Hoang Trong Hiep.

The meeting will also adopt new working regulations and election rules. Shareholders wishing to attend must send a certificate of attendance or authorization by 4:30 PM on October 22, 2025.
