Vinacomin – Ha Tu Coal schedules EGM for board changes

Vinacomin – Ha Tu Coal Joint Stock Company (HNX:THT) announced an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) for 2025, with a record date of October 27, 2025. The meeting is scheduled for November 28, 2025, at the company's office in Ha Tu Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province. The primary agenda includes the dismissal and additional election of board of directors members. Shareholders will have one voting right per share, with common shares valued at VND 10,000 per share.

The EGM follows the resignation of Ngo The Phiet as chairman of the board, effective October 7, 2025. Tran Quoc Tuan, a current board member and director, has been temporarily assigned to assume the responsibilities of the chairman. Additionally, Vu Van Khan has been nominated as a candidate to fill a vacant board position for the remaining term of 2022-2027.

The board of directors has approved the establishment of a steering committee, led by the director, to organize the EGM. This meeting will also address other matters under the authority of the general meeting of shareholders, including potential adjustments to the 2025 business and production plan.
