Kon Tum Sugar exceeds profit target, approves dividend, names new board chairman

Kon Tum Sugar Joint Stock Company (KTS) reported strong financial performance for the fiscal year 2024-2025, with profit after corporate income tax reaching 34,096 million, surpassing the plan by 29.15%. Total net revenue for the period was 341,002 million, achieving 69.11% of the annual plan. For the fiscal year 2025-2026, KTS projects total net revenue of 461,300 million and a profit after corporate income tax of 11,500 million.

Shareholders approved a dividend distribution ratio of 5% of charter capital, amounting to 2,535,000,000. Additionally, 1,500,000,000 was appropriated to funds, including 1,000,000,000 for the reward fund and 500,000,000 for the welfare fund. Remaining undistributed profits carried forward to the next year totaled 170,934,200,175.

The general meeting also approved the dismissal of Mr. Đang Viet Anh and Mr. Thai Van Hung from the board of directors and the election of Mrs. Đang Thi Thu Hang and Mrs. Huynh Le Thanh as new board members for the 2023-2028 term. Mr. Tran Ngoc Hieu was elected chairman of the board.
