Vinacomin – Mong Duong Coal names Luong Thanh Chung new general director

Vinacomin – Mong Duong Coal JSC (MDC) has announced the appointment of Luong Thanh Chung as the new general director, effective September 9, 2025. Chung, previously deputy general director of Than Khe Cham – TKV, will serve a five-year term and will also become a representative of TKV at MDC. His monthly salary is set at VND 18,621,000, in accordance with the company's salary scale.

This appointment follows the resignation of Hoang Trong Hiep from his role as general director, also effective September 9, 2025. Hiep is transitioning to a new position at the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee. He is responsible for handing over all duties, assets, and relevant documents to his successor. Hiep will continue his role as a member of the board of directors until the General Meeting of Shareholders approves his resignation from the board.

The decisions were made following Resolution No. 39/NQ-HĐQT and Decisions No. 3266, 3268/QĐ-TMD by the board of directors on September 8, 2025.
