Gia Dinh Water Supply reports steady growth, approves expansion plans

Gia Dinh Water Supply Joint Stock Company's board of directors held its fourth meeting of 2025 on August 21, 2025, reviewing and approving the company’s performance and future plans. For the first six months of 2025, the company reported a consumed water volume of 27.627m³, total revenue of VND337.837bn, and a pre-tax profit of VND23.940bn. The average cumulative water loss rate was 9.14%, reflecting stable operational results.

The board approved adjustments to the 2025 production, business, financial plan, and capital construction investment. Key additions include 18 new investment projects for network development and pipe replacement, alongside procurement of new machinery, IT equipment, and training programs. This includes 4 new pieces of machinery, wifi systems, and consulting services, with a total estimated cost of VND93.845bn for procurement and training, and an expected disbursement of VND75.036bn.

Furthermore, Gia Dinh Water Supply has allocated a reward fund of VND1.212bn for employees involved in reducing water loss, based on average reward levels from 2022-2024. This initiative aims to incentivize efforts towards efficiency and operational improvement, with the fund's adjustment tied to pre-tax profit targets compared to allocated plans.
