Kon Tum Sugar sees strong profit growth in 2025 on increased sales

Kon Tum Sugar Joint Stock Company (KTS) reported a profit after tax of VND 34,095,739,507 for the 2024-2025 accounting year, marking a 10.30% increase from the VND 30,912,899,429 recorded in the previous year. This growth is primarily attributed to a higher sugar consumption output, which led to increased sales revenue and service provision, consequently boosting gross profit.

The company’s total assets as of June 30, 2025, rose to VND 556,788,426,737, up from VND 483,072,601,744 on July 1, 2024. Current assets increased from VND 279,685,477,523 to VND 361,921,665,711, while non-current assets slightly decreased from VND 203,387,124,221 to VND 194,866,761,026. Liabilities saw an increase from VND 255,264,769,600 to VND 300,931,846,770, with current liabilities making up the majority.

The financial statement also highlighted that basic earnings per share increased from VND 5,900 in the previous year to VND 6,725 in the current year. KTS confirmed that the audit department presented an unqualified opinion on the 2024-2025 audited financial statements.
