Educational Book JSC reports increased half-yearly profits

Educational Book Joint Stock Company in Hanoi City recorded an after-tax profit of VND 4,898,040,180 for the first six months of 2025, an increase of VND 683,815,342 compared to the same period in 2024. This growth was driven by a rise in revenue from sales and service provision, which climbed by VND 1,365,774,527, reaching VND 32,120,790,053.

Despite the increase in revenue, the cost of goods sold also saw a significant rise of VND 1,184,856,927, totaling VND 21,094,387,296 for the six-month period. However, a notable boost in financial income of VND 1,352,312,380, reaching VND 6,062,935,508, helped offset the increased costs and contributed to the overall profit growth.

The company’s interim separate balance sheet as of June 30, 2025, shows total assets of VND 153,408,465,074, up from VND 139,424,558,668 at the beginning of the year. Liabilities increased to VND 30,239,130,889 from VND 13,180,797,463, while owner's equity decreased to VND 123,169,334,185 from VND 126,243,761,205.
