Plastic Additives faces auditor qualification over VND 79bn transfer

Plastic Additives Joint Stock Company received a qualified auditor opinion after UHY Auditing and Consulting couldn't obtain complete documentation for the transfer of its investment in Vinh Phuc Plastic Additives, valued at VND 79,374,310,000.

The auditor couldn't assess the transaction's impact on interim financial statements. The company said it would supplement required documents soon.

Net profit after tax fell 79.67% in the first half of 2025 to VND 494,905,186, due to a 26.87% revenue decline and gross profit margin dropping from 9.15% to 2.21%.
