Guotai Junan Securities Vietnam posts 19% profit jump

Guotai Junan Securities (Vietnam) Corp. reported profit after tax of VND 13.2 billion for the first half of 2025, up 18.78% from VND 11.1 billion in the same period last year.

Total revenue reached VND 45.6 billion, rising 20.88% from VND 37.7 billion in 2024. The company attributed increased revenue primarily to gains from held-to-maturity investments and loans and receivables.

Total expenses also rose 21.76% to VND 32.4 billion, mainly due to higher interest expenses and general administrative costs.
