Mechannics Construction profit falls 11% despite revenue growth

Mechannics Construction and Foodstuff Joint Stock Company reported an 11.45% decline in after-tax profit for the first half of 2025 to VND 5.19 billion, despite net revenue rising 19.28% to VND 285.7 billion.

The packaging segment drove the decline with sales volume falling 23.57% year-on-year. The mechanical engineering segment also hurt profits due to insufficient revenue and absence of contractual compensation from Saigon Viet Hung recorded in 2024.

However, foodstuff and concrete segments showed strong growth and profitability.
