VNECO4 Electricity Construction Reports Significant Profit Decline in Q2 2025

VNECO4 Electricity Construction JSC announced its Q2 2025 financial statements, reporting a net profit after tax of VND 59,223,527. This marks a significant 96.61% reduction from the VND 1,744,885,787 reported in Q2 2024.

Total revenue for Q2 2025 was VND 14,532,805,175, down 44.05% from VND 25,973,212,357 in Q2 2024. Total expenses decreased by 40.26% to VND 14,473,581,648 from VND 24,228,326,570. The company attributed the revenue decline to economic impacts, transitional state policies, and unresolved project issues affecting progress. An increase in other income was noted due to the reversal of construction warranty provisions, while costs decreased due to reduced material, labor, and management expenses from overdue debt write-offs.
