Green Energy partners with Recharge Power, boosts profit forecast

Green Energy & Company will enhance its domestic grid-connected storage battery business by forming a strategic alliance with Recharge Power and its subsidiary, REENS Inc., effective December 10, 2025. This collaboration aims to establish an integrated system for large-scale supply and orders, covering everything from land acquisition to design, construction, sales, O&M, and aggregation. Immediate goals include jointly developing 20 high-voltage projects (2MW/8MWh) across Japan by April 2027 and acquiring two large-scale special high-voltage projects.

Coinciding with this alliance, Green Energy & Company revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending April 2026 upwards. The company projects net sales of JPY 15,400 million (up from JPY 14,000 million), operating profit of JPY 780 million (up from JPY 700 million), ordinary profit of JPY 580 million (up from JPY 520 million), and net income attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 420 million (up from JPY 380 million). This revision is primarily attributed to strong performance in its solar power generation and net-zero energy house (ZEH) businesses, which saw some projects' progress and revenue recognition accelerated.

The alliance with Recharge Power strengthens Green Energy & Company’s position in the rapidly expanding domestic grid-connected storage battery market. Recharge Power brings extensive experience and advanced technology, including a track record of 307MW/647MWh in BESS installations and expertise in automatic frequency control (AFC) projects.
