Eole sells Rakuraku Renrakumo+ to Euphoria for 25m yen

Eole Co., Ltd. resolved on November 14, 2025, to transfer its "Rakuraku Renrakumo+" business and finalized the agreement with Euphoria Co., Ltd. on December 9, 2025. This divestiture aligns with Eole's medium-term management plan to optimize business performance through strategic focus and resource reallocation. The "Rakuraku Renrakumo+" operation, a contact network app, generated revenue of JPY 84,843, representing 2.39% of Eole's March 2025 fiscal year revenue of JPY 3,549,234.

The transaction involves a transfer price of JPY 25,000,000, to be settled in cash. The assets being transferred consist of intangible assets related to the "Rakuraku Renrakumo+" app, which have a book value of JPY 0 due to past impairment. There are no liabilities associated with the transferred business. The transfer is scheduled for completion on January 1, 2026.

Euphoria, a sports tech firm, was selected as the acquirer due to the high service affinity between the platform, utilized by many sports-related organizations, and Euphoria's focus on IT solutions for athletes. Eole expects to record an extraordinary gain of JPY 25,000,000 in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 as a result of this business transfer.
