Shanghai Electric Power appoints new board chairman, Huang Chen

Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd. held its eleventh extraordinary board meeting of 2025 on December 8, 2025, via teleconference. All 13 directors were present at the meeting, which focused on the election of the chairman for the ninth board of directors.

During the meeting, the board unanimously approved the election of Mr. Huang Chen as the chairman of the company's ninth board of directors, with all 13 votes in favor and no objections or abstentions. Mr. Huang Chen will also continue to serve as a director handling company affairs and as the legal representative.

The resolution further clarified that Mr. Huang Chen will no longer hold the position of general manager. The board meeting was held in compliance with relevant laws, administrative regulations, departmental rules, regulatory documents, and the company's articles of association.
