China Automotive Research announces interim cash dividend

China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI) announced an interim cash dividend of RMB 0.10 per share (inclusive of tax) for the first three quarters of 2025. This distribution, approved at the 2024 annual general meeting on May 16, 2025, and further deliberated by the fifth board of directors on October 27, 2025, applies to all A-share shareholders registered by the close of business on the equity registration date.

The equity registration date is December 16, 2025, with the ex-dividend date and cash dividend payment date both set for December 17, 2025. Based on the company's total share capital of 1,003,054,887 shares prior to the implementation of the plan, the total cash dividend distributed will be RMB 100,305,488.70 (inclusive of tax). This distribution exclusively involves cash dividends and does not include bonus shares or capitalization from the capital reserve.

For individual shareholders and securities investment funds, a differentiated individual income tax policy on dividends applies based on the holding period. Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) and Hong Kong market investors investing via Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect will have a 10% withholding tax deducted, resulting in a net cash dividend of RMB 0.09 per share. Other institutional investors and corporate shareholders are responsible for self-declaration and payment of taxes.
