JSW Steel reports 5% rise in november crude steel output

JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 24.39 lakh tonnes for November 2025, marking a 5% increase compared to the previous year. Indian operations contributed 23.61 lakh tonnes, also a 5% rise from November 2024, while JSW Steel USA – Ohio produced 0.78 lakh tonnes during the same period.

The capacity utilization of Indian operations stood at 84%. This was lower due to a shutdown of Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar for an upgrade, increasing its capacity from 3 to 4.5 MTPA. Excluding BF3's capacity, utilization for November 2025 was approximately 93%.

JSW Steel is a flagship business of the $23 billion JSW Group, with a consolidated crude steel capacity of 35.7 MTPA, including 1.5 MTPA in the US. The company plans to expand its consolidated capacity to 43.4 MTPA over the next three years.
