GPT Infraprojects wins ₹199.17 crore North Eastern Railway contract

GPT Infraprojects Limited (GPTINFRA) has been awarded a contract valued at ₹199.17 crore by the North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur, UP. The company was declared L1 (First Lowest) for the order on December 9, 2025.

The project involves the construction of substructures, fabrication, and launching of superstructures for two important bridges, No. 247 (10x61 m) and 287 (10x61.0 m). Both bridges will feature Double D-type well foundations, designed for a double line with RDSO 25 T axle loading standard over the Rapti River. The work is situated between the Khalilabad-Bahraich section of the North Eastern Railway.
