Delhivery launches international shipping service for Indian MSMEs

Delhivery announced the launch of "Delhivery International," an Economy Air Parcel service. It's designed to offer affordable, simple, and reliable global exports for Indian MSMEs and enterprise customers, complementing the company's existing Express Air Parcel service. The company emphasized that the service addresses common cross-border logistics hurdles faced by MSMEs, including high shipping costs, complex documentation, and unpredictable delivery timelines.

The "Delhivery International" service, accessible via the Delhivery One platform, provides a streamlined booking experience, multiple shipping options, real-time rates, and end-to-end visibility from pickup to final delivery. The service leverages Delhivery's extensive domestic network, covering close to 19,000 pin codes across India, to enable MSMEs in remote areas to access international markets.

According to Vani Venkatesh, chief business officer at Delhivery, the service aims to overcome the pervasive lack of shipment visibility in international shipping. Sahil Barua, managing director & chief executive officer, highlighted that enabling exports is a massive catalyst for Indian MSME growth, and "Delhivery International" removes friction from global trade for customers. Delhivery has fulfilled over 4.0 bn shipments since its inception, serving over 48,000 customers.
