BOC Aviation names Chen Xiang as new non-executive director

BOC Aviation Limited has announced the appointment of Chen Xiang, 43, as a non-executive director and a member of both the remuneration and nomination committees, effective December 10, 2025. Chen joined Bank of China Limited ("BOC") in August 2004 and is currently the deputy general manager of the human resources department of BOC, a position he has held since November 2025.

Prior to his current role, Chen served in various capacities, including assistant general manager and then deputy general manager of BOC Manila Branch (renamed Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited Manila Branch), and deputy general manager of BOC Singapore Branch, from May 2017 to November 2025. He holds a bachelor's degree in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University (July 2004) and a master's degree in business administration from Tsinghua University (June 2010).

Chen Xiang will not receive any director's fee or committee service fees for his new roles. He has no prior directorships in any listed public companies in Hong Kong or overseas within the last three years and has no other relationships or interests to disclose as per listing rules. The board of directors includes Zhuo Chengwen as chairman and executive director, Steven Matthew Townend as executive director, and several other non-executive and independent non-executive directors.
